Hey that's pretty cool! Where do you seem to find those at? At my local beach where me and my husband went to we found a rock of some sort or it could be a silver nugget. Do you know anything about Silver Nuggets and the difference between them and rocks? I can link you the pic of what we found.

Found it 12'' deep with my husband's Sovereign GT Metal Detector in Howarth Park Beach in Mukilteo, WA. I am very interested to know what it is myself :)

That's in a place where gold and possibly silver and other precious metals are found. I would try to take it to a university if there is one nearby. If that isn't a option take it to a jeweler or silversmith. If that doesn't pan out there are home testing kits you can buy for silver, gold and other metals. They aren't expensive and are well worth the money.

Here is place to buy such testing supplies.

In the meantime I would spend every spare minute of my time searching for gold and other metals. If that isn't silver you are in a great place to find such metals. If I were you I would try and save for a water PI detector. The Tesoro tiger shark is a great machine and its not too expensive. Who know what's in the water just right off shore.if you have any questions or comments please feel free to ask.

Happy Hunting,

We might hit that place again soon! I am excited to start using my metal detector my husband bought for me and the pin pointer is amazing!!! I found like a lot of bottle caps and pull tabs lol on my first try. Can't wait to see what is out there on the other side of the beach.

Wow that sure looks like platinum I'm going to go out on a limb and be highly speculative on this one lol, My second guess is Aluminum slag and 3rd guess silver. Good luck.:award_star_silver_1

Thanks! I was guessing a lot myself today about what this could be... but it's very interesting :) Not what you would find everyday.
