Found this in a MWR of halves. You can barely tell it is a nickel but it is.

I will take a guess on this one. Appears to have been put on a railroad track.

That's one way to make 10-times face value on your money. Live near a railroad track with SLOW moving trains. Probably if it was silver, it would be flatter yet.
