hardly nothing.

when do ya draw the line on how hot you detect?

it was like 95 deg. and I was miserable to the max detecting. melting.

I tried half azzed basically and got not much for my efforts. pocket spill, clad, beer cans, junk. I kinda gave up on this trip and I thought I would detect like a madwoman but other vacation stuff was easier in the heat to handle

got a ton of nice sinkers for hubby to fish. eh, at least he came away smiling mostly.

Visions of great finds on this trip and it sure didn't pan out that way

Try one if these. They have SPF protection, keep any sea lice or jelly fish off the skin and help you cool off on the dry sand if you take an occasional dip in the surf. GL

Whoa, does that thing do what they say, cause at that price I want a couple of them. (tho I'll still wear my trunks on top, don't got the body any more)

I am southeast and I am hot. but I gotta say that high sun and beach combo, even with breeze, was killer I realize now in this weather it has to be a 'super early' hunt. then run for your life.

Just have to know how to do it, I submerge myself under water when I get hot to cool off...... There are also the beach showers at the restrooms......

That's the BEAUTY of having a water machine. Wet up to the neck and cool, when it's broiling on the dry sand.
