Here are some of the blooms from our yard this year. More will open in the next few days if the predicted bad weather Sunday doesn't take them out.

Are you using the cameras built in flash, or a flash unit mounted
in the shoe (slot on top for flash unit)?
For a different look, try bouncing the flash off the ceiling, or an
adjacent wall. Gives the pic a whole new look.
These pictures were taken outside using a piece of black
poster board for a background. No flash used. The shadows were from the sunlight.
Makes sense..odd though that the image data shows the
flash did fire...
