Supposed to keep going until Tuesday.

:censored::censored::censored: I knew you guys got hammered, but I did not know it was that bad. I hope you are all safe.

We're all alive.

As annoying as it is, we're all used to it LOL.

I had to work, funny schools were shut down and town was in panic mode but it really wasn't a big deal, I didn't even need gloves lol

You guys are hard core. I hope you are out detecting again soon.

"You're not hardcore, unless you live hardcore"

I was driving through the fairgrounds today and spotted grass! Looks like the 40mph wind was hitting it in a way that only left a few inches of snow, im so there tomorrow :o)

I just hit a local park where I could get through the snow.

The wind is blowing 50mph and the mud is knee deep.

2 hours of that, and I'm DONE!!! 2 pennies and a silver earring. Ohhh, and the oldest Coors can I have ever seen LOL.

So I couldn't wait, I went over and put a couple hours in, the moist ground sure is nice, I got a 1937 merc, and a very cool old button with an eagle holding wheat stalks, one wheat penny, I left the lincoln pennies lay today but dug the dimes and quarters, 3 of each.

Did I say just hardcore? I meant super hard core. Congrats on the finds guys.

Nother 4 inches this AM.

At least the mud will be a bit harder LOL.

WM

Ohhh, and 16-24 more inches predicted over the next 3 days.

Word of advice if you ever want to relocate to Wyoming- invest in a very nice snow shovel.

Snow shovel :censored:, you need a tank mounted snow blower. Thank gawd for global warming or you'd be under 30 ft. of snow.

When I was a kid growing up here, we got 12+ inches of snow every week for months on end.

I've softened in my old age LOL.

I have a snow blower though. It does a great job. Has tank tracks and it self propelled. Just like this

My buddy who lives in the mountains needs a bit more. He drives something like this. Unimog with auger up front. The auger is powered by a diesel 6cyl engine in the back. He can throw snow 60 feet in any direction. His driveway to 3 miles to the highway, and he must be able to leave for work.

Wyoming,South Dakota, Montana all the same, oh well summer I mean August will be here soon.

That's a fact soon enough it will be 105 degrees in the shade

Crap mixture of snow and ice coming down so hard it's sideways. This is day number six in a row of this same stuff. Wyomingmedic I like your snowthrower but your friends is the bomb.

Well I went back out today with dad, he couldn't resist after seeing my dime and button, its 32 degrees with light snow, wind is 30mph with gusts to 50, we gave it an honest hour and a half, we got 2 wheats, dad got quite a bit of clad. I chose again to leave it be and hunt out those faint signals, there may be deeper targets under those screaming corroded zincolns, ill get back over there with my 9 year old and let him have fun recovering those. He already knows to rescan after digging and recovery of any target. Im sure he will do well. I recently sold his whites coinmaster classic 1 and picked him up a used tesoro cibola.

Thems some cool snow throwers.
