Folks, Back to back gold rings.....

Folks,

I've had a bit of luck lately.....last 2 urban green space hunts and managed gold both times....probably never happened before in 20 years or so of detecting.....but I'll take it while lady luck smiles on me...lol...

Thursday at a sports field in a nearby city managed a kids 22k gold ring with a Russian inscription.....and today at a nearby sports field a small 14k woman's diamond ring with 3 small stones.....

Found the silver ring with the paste stones at a nearby sports field along the sidelines....down 4/5" and a scratchy signal.....since I pretty much dig any repeatable signals I dig a lot of junk but get lucky sometimes.

Retired 12 years ago....lol.....based on the hours I spend detecting probably works out to about $2.00 per hour including the clad, gold and silver finds....if I was in it for money better being a greeter at Wally World....lol....

Been looking at some of your posts...really neat. Wish I had begun detecting years ago , but have been doing it for a little more than a year and a half ago. However I feel that I have been very fortunate in my finds. 25 silver coins ,18 k gold & platinum ring , 2 -14 k rings ,8- 925 rings 2 buffalo , numerous tokens ,1810 Federal Navy flat button ,1851 Union Sword Buckle . More than $460 in clad .What a great hobby , God Speed. Dave

You've done good for your short time detecting.....unfortunately most of my regular sites have been pretty much picked clean by me or others so I have to go further afield to make some decent finds these days....last season not one single gold or silver jewelry item.
