I haven't been keeping up with bands more recent then the late 70's,
maybe early 80's, the Disco era, was the downfall for me purchasing
new music of any genre, with one exception,
Nine inch nails "The Downward Spiral". then Music Videos on TV,
disposable songs by pop loosers like Whitney Houston, & Celine Dion,
among others :( and commercial free radio, and the downfall of
and CD's* put the
final nails in the coffin. )
so the name "Xpensive Winos" is not familiar.

your right though was worth the listen 8-)



*I had hundreds of Albums & thousands of 45's
then 8 tracks came along.
I bought Thousands of 8 tracks (Stereo & Quad)
then Cassettes came along. & eventually I purchased all my favorites
(about 1200 Cassettes) & CD's come out. I gave up.
as soon as I purchase a CD player & a few hundred CD's,
something new will come out. Fool me Once, twice,
3 times, Your a thief :tongue3: fool me anymore,
I'm an easy mark :laughing7: not gonna happen

I have it all, I can go on my TV and turn to the Music Choice channels, Pic a Genre ,
and Listen to my Hearts Content, commercial free.
I can call up the Shout Cast radio Directory on my computer
and choose hundreds of commercial free stations
of these genres & many more



No I can't choose the albums (that I'm aware of) I can choose particular songs on UTube,
and it's free :laughing7:

Oh & the storage space is free too. no carry cases, Extra Library Shelving ...

I like this version Bill. It takes a special artist to put his/her spin on it to not sound like a cheap imitation.I want to share a link from a lady that came to church a few years ago singing Gimme Shelter,I really loved her voice,husky but not gravely.She has an interesting past,overcame addiction problems and is now doing well and reaching out to others.

The songs she sang in church were much better than the links posted on You Tube with the exception of this song so I concur.

Great version and thanks for sharing.....lots of intensity both from the band and Ashley....this was an anti war so in case you didn't know and it was meant to be done with lots of emotion.....and her and the band do a bang up job.
