Thanks for all the replies everyone and the Banner nod! Some people have no clue as to what lays below their feet in their own yards. And when I show them the way we dig and how we attempt to replace the sod as best we can they usually say yes. Honestly I'd rather dig a pristine well manicured lawn than a dirt area with weeds. Like a puzzle piece we try to fit them back as best we can. Plus its always nice to find "Color" in the ground. Thanks again for all the replies. I am currently getting ready to post another dig....be on the lookout for it! jgas

Isn't a great feeling uncovering treasures a little at a time. The deeper you go the older they are. I like the shaker the best.
