After yesterdays great hunt, we couldn't wait for low tide today, so we arrived early and worked the top of the beach. Before we knew it the tide was dow far enough to score a few nice coins. Dad stared it off with another V nickel 1899.... Then I got a good hit ( Silver ) my first of the day and it was a Barber dime 1892, Then an Indian Head penny only a foot away, Wow doing good again today, Then I see that smurk that Dad has when he finds a goody...LOLOL Yup a silver Barber dime fo him this time no date, As we worked farther apart we had to change over to hand signals.... A few sinkers and then another Barber Dime 1882..... Dad was watching from a far and just shaking his head with a big smile... I walked down to the waters edge because we had worked the spot pretty good and the beach looked like land mines had gone off with all the covered up holes...... I swung the detector and BUZZZZZZZZZ BUZZZZZZZZZ a very low tone , you know that sound my brain was saying..... dig dig dig...... I couldn't get it fast enough a mans 14 k wedding band... although it s cracked it's prety heavy 8.3 grams ( SCORE ) I just knew there was a ringwaiting for me there today..... on the way out a silver washington quarter and another Indian Headpenny.... I love this hobby ! HH Thanks for looking...
