"Foot in mouth"....where did it come from because it's impossible to actually put your whole foot in your mouth?
"Green thumb".....why not the pinky or index finger, why the thumb?
"Golden years".....who were they kidding with this one!

how about old fart? I mean wouldn't the gas be old.....certainly it doesn't change the smell of it from a young fart?
