They have really worked hard on that site over the past year with many new additions. I have a couple on there I dug, and several I've owned.

Great site...except for the music.

I did not see one as large as the one I dug on Nov. 17.

I have never seen one bigger. A friend many years back found a very large early Artillery, but can't be sure it was that large.... was definitely not bigger. Ironhorse I think also dug a big Artillery, and months down the road if I remember I'll ask him to measure it. My largest Navy is 29mm, and nothing else has been close.

Thanks mr. Patch That does tell me that it it is indeed a rare find. And Mr. Crudader only digging two in 25 years. all of those at less than mine of 33 mm does tell me it is a banner find even if it doessn't geat a vote, Neither did did my 1720 shilling or my 1758 2 R.

I get it now, banner votes are more about who (where)you are, not about your find. as there are 5 (some questionable) gold coins on the banner, and no 2 R.(not cut, good condition) for a very alooooong time ?

Not a "sour grapes" story, just a fact.
