My dad found this coin a while ago and I just want to ID it because I've seen some really old Chinese coins found and posted on tnet that are in about the same condition. So if anyone could help it would be appreciated. 20180602_100439.jpg 20180602_100330.jpg

My computer monitor is all messed up and doesn't show detail well, but my best guess is...
Your Cash coin is upside down, but what I think it is, is a machine struck
[h=2]Emperor TE TSUNG
AD 1875-1908[/h][h=3]Reign title: KUANG-HSU, 1875-1908[/h][h=3]MACHINE STRUCK CASH[/h]During the Kuang-hsu period the first machine made cash coins of China were struck. They were struck in a very yellow brass, and tend to be very well made, but do not appear to have been too popular as they are normally seen with very little wear on them, showing they did not circulate widely. Most were made in the Kwangtung province, and were probably first struck in 1889.

You can find this info here.

Lol didn't even realize I was holding it upside down. Anyways, thank you for the ID I would have never managed to find it myself.
