Fossil or weird conglomerate ? I have three of these and I am sure they are NOT weathered concrete.
My Great Aunt found them on the property back in the 50's, she called them 'Elephant feet' because of the shape and size.
I am wondering if they are a type of Coral head, or some other recognizable fossil. Not far from us a university is checking out
a petrified forest, that may be older than the Gilboa forest. (Gilboa Fossil Forest, New York, USA, is cited as home to the Earth's oldest forest.[SUP][1][/SUP] Located near the Gilboa Dam in Schoharie County, New York,)
