Found a badge at an old school

I went to an older school down the street today and found this badge. It was about 4-5 inches deep. The school was built in 1904. I have also found a few IH pennies there. If anyone has any info on this it would be great. It has the name GOL-TONE on the back. Thanks

Joey, when I was in grade school in Maine back in the 50's the police and fire departments use to send cops and firemen out to talk with all the kids and befor they would leave they always passed out badges like the one you found there. The one's for the fire dept. had Jr. Fireman on them and of course looked like firemen's badges. Nice find, brought back some old memories for me. Thanks. HH
