hey everyone! Bob and i got out to a train station spot today. he fared a bit better than me with two nice silver pieces, but i found a few cool things. one was an Indian cent 1892 (ill post pics when i get it cleaned up) an old pocket watch case ( not silver or gold unfortunately), and this little buckle. it looks like a miniature shoe buckle at only an inch long. is this a colonial knee buckle or is it newer than that? i know someone around here will know. if anyone can guess a date or a time period i would be interested in hearing it. anyway that's it for now. ill add the penny picture when i get it cleaned....................ok heres a pic of the cleaned up penny.its a bit worn but otherwise cleaned up nicely

I don't know the age, but I am gonna go out on a limb and say pre 1840. Either way it is a nice find! I am sure someone here is more of an expert than I am.

Congrats!

Suspender buckle. Post CW but pre 1910 is my stance.

Nice find! Good to find one that isn't all bent up by a plow. :)
