Nice coin! I have always felt that there are several "holy grails" of THing. One is obviously a Civil War buckle. One is a gold coin. I also feel that a silver dollar (so infrequently lost) is another. I have found two of these, but never the gold. Congrats man, and thanks for the nice pics.

PS- I sure hope my GTI-2500 gets me there one day. So far I have only been out with it once. I just upgraded after using the GTA-500 and GTAx-550 machines for the last 12 years.

A local friend of mine uses the GTI-2500 and has found two gold coins; a 1781 Spanish escudo and a lovely 1901 $10 Liberty.

Way to go! You've gotten me fired up to get out and use my 2500 a little!
