found a gun, and same ol' stuff


My and my boys went to a dry creek bed again.
I was able to go farther this time, had more daylight! Temp was good too, at mid 50's.
I guess I have my eyes tuned for fossils more than anything, but did find a gun today. My back pack must've weighed like 25+ lbs today. Did not bring home gun, but did kill myself with tons of fossils and another single horn. My sea urchins are bigger and also the sea bisuits are more defined.
I jumped in suv and go MDing for a while w/o dogs, but vehicle won't start. This means I have to get it to a shop first thing tomorrow! Sigh! At least it got me home!

Your fossils rock! I love the urchins and that giant moon snail.
Growing up in Southern California I used to find the same fossils in dry creek m
beds too, sure do miss that kind of hunting.

lots of fossils!!! awesome...you would have loved my driveway, I got thousand of fossils.... but most are crushed up into dust by now.... down here in FL that's how we roll
