I managed to squeeze out three quick 30 minute hunts. It produced one silver ring...very unusual purity ring...a silver war nickel and a heart stopping diamond ring. What a thrill to see it staring up at you from the hole. Alas it was not the real deal but I needed something to get my blood pumping lately.

Nice work ! I'm pretty new to hunting and brand new to this site. Can I ask where you like to hunt ? Parks, beaches, schools ?
Thanks in advance.

Due to my schedule and family commitments I mostly hunt parks, schools (where allowed) and occasionally I go to the beach. I very seldom get out for relic or old coin hunts so I am mostly a jewelry hunter.

Jim, you are truly the "Ringman" in our group. Sorry you couldn't hunt with us Saturday, but you made up for it in spades!

Hope to see you this weekend. I am still trying to learn the Deus, but I know I will be rehunting a lot of areas we already hit with our ETracs.

...on the good side, two pieces of silver in thirty minutes is fantastic. You'll get that diamond one day.

Still great to find such interesting stuff ain't it.

This brings to mind a subject I was going to make a post on. I wonder how many of us do that playing with the fantasy, before we finish uncovering the find. Such as seeing the shape of the diamond ring and just sitting back to enjoy the possibility that it's real. Or slowing the dig down once we see a silver edge to slooooooooowly uncover the rest. Or, seeing a gold color anywhere in the hole and immediately look away to live with the idea that maybe, just maybe, this time, it's that gold coin.

HH!
