Sifting for fossil shark teeth in Florida. Somewhere I have one that replaced the entire shell of a spiral snail.. found this one yesterday.

Thanks its good looking stuff. Its very abundant in Florida so I forget its not old hat everywhere.

THere's a place in Utah's Uinta Mountains where they mine Calcite big enough to make lighted countertops out of it...gorgeous stuff. There may be some here in Idaho....I'm not sure I would know it if I saw it...LOL
