Too bad the mower found it first. I also found $3.55 in clad, 32 corroded pennies, an Australian dime, a dolphin pendant ( no marks) mower got that too but not bad, a junk ring, a sterling ring (2.9gr) and a Mongoose bike in the bushes, No pix of the bike because I cant figure out how to get them off my cell phone :icon_scratch: I called the cops and turned in the bike. but here are the pictures of the rest. ;D

Very interesting finds there Cranky!

I know the ring with the blue stone is just a "junker", but it still looks cool! :notworthy:

Email the picture from your phone to your home computer, that's what I do. :laughing7:

Me too. I hope the kid gets it back. I looked it up and it is a $200 bike.

The blue ring gave me a thrill until I picked it up, then of course I was disseminated. Then the other one showed up and I was thrilled. for next week I have my eye on a site where a festival is going on this weekend.

We don't get too many coins from Oz in the States, good find!

I know. I have found coins from nearly every country in the world but I think this is my first Australian coin. A couple weeks ago and about 1/4 mile away I also found an English penny and 20 pence coin. I guess it just goes to show anything can turn up. I guess that's why I like doing this.

Thank you Treasure Pleasure, dwayne sueño, Antiquarian, and Chocadog for the kind words and everybody else for looking.
By the way I decided the pocket knife is nice enough to fix so I straightened the bent parts and began working on new handles today.
