yeah I thought it was mica too ,,,, but its heavier and doesn't float,,,,, dont know anything about calcite crystals

also passes the 23.9 k acid test ,,, well the red shiny does,,,, I get it by heating it up and cooling it down quick and peal it off, but around here no one has a good electro to test this small of flakes

nelson you can do the colour streak test and if yellow shiny color that is a good sign. Rocks look great and hope they are as great as they look.

nice thanks guys ,,,, I still got some studying to do with this I see ,,, I was told the red was rose gold, or crown gold ,,,,, more copper in it then silver
