from Canada. I think it looks cool! Some TD branches allow to examine their magnets so I get pick a few coins l like, such as steel penny, loonie and toonie, anything I think it's cool. Today I got a toonie and this 12-sided V-Nickel.

Wait are they rare. Because I got a roll of pre 1964 Canadian nickels and one of them was that and a 1933

They are not rare, that is just the way they were made in 1944 and 1945 because of WW2 but nonetheless it is a nice find. Oh and your 1933 is a common date.

These are fun to find. They are called "Victory Nickels". Some trivia about them: on the reverse, around the edge, you can see dots and dashes. It's Morse code for "We win when we work willingly".

I meant the TD branch's coin counting machine. Since most US coins are not magnetic but some foreign coins are, most coin counting machines will install a piece of magnet somewhere inside to suck out the foreign coins before they are counted as US coins. I befriended with the tellers at some branches so they allow me to take whatever foreign junks I like.

Nice find! I got one of those from my CU magnet. I also bought a MS-63 tombac v-nickel.
