Always fun to find old ax heads, even if they're broken and crusty! I found this 3 pound head yesterday deep in the woods. It's definitely the old style, but I'm not positive of the pattern. Could be Connecticut, but not sure. Any input on the pattern type and age would be appreciated. I'm guessing late 1800's, but I could be wrong.
