went walking in this big empty field the other day i had some maps that showed some farm houses that were in the area in the 1920s 1930s just a couple hrs turned out 2 flat buttons a blet buckle and bullet and a coin i cant id yet. the button intrested me because i can see some detail on the back so i dug info and found its late 1700 early 1800 imported from england
Plain Civilian Button: Late 1700-Early 1800's, plain face, one piece. These are the type imported to America from England, used by most civilians of the era, and they even occasionally turn up on Confederate uniforms. B/m "Rich Gold Color" .734" diameter.
