Hey friends. I went to check out this place in the woods that I have known about for a while. the foundation is still there. I tried doing some detecting but couldn't find anything. As I made my way down the hill I started digging and finding shards of glass and metal. So as I progressed I found out that I just found their old dump site. I dug for about 3 hours. I found some neat things. Found the whats it metal with the M on it? I also found the weird ace looking aluminum thingy as well. The utensils were all stainless accept for the really big fork I found. there are three stamps on the back. Looks like a C and S and a P. Thats it. Any comments would be appreciated and if you can tell me what those mystery things are I would like that as well!! THANKS!!

The "W" thing is a watch fob, i've got one very similar to yours, always thought it was 1850's, because of the 1830 site it came from. HH

Intersting digs.

I think the aluminum thing is a nozzle from a cookie shooter. My mother had a newer electric version. You filled the thing with dough and squeezed it out through the form. That is an odd shape for a cookie??

Not positive, but I think it's for decorating the cookie with colored icing. It resembles a Christmas tree.
Not many of those around anymore.

Good hunt.

Yup, the weird aluminum thing is a Christmas tree plate for a cookie press. The cookie dough is pushed through this plate and makes a Christmas tree shaped spritz cookie. Same designs used for many many years so it could be old or newer. cool find though.

Nice Fob !!
I've found a lot of flatware, but you got me beat for a one day haul
dumpsites are good diggins, I'd still be creeeping around that foundation for goodies in the trash, your fork is a 'Dunster' pattern (what an attractive name) first made 1907
by Cambridge Silver Plate, later licensed to Rogers Bros.
The MM is a cool design :D
above the fork in first pic looks to be a plumb bob & string :icon_scratch:
Great bunch of digs! Keep em Comin ;D
