It's jet black all around (hence 1 pic) and for those who helped me with IDing the ones in my Photobucket album, it's roughly the same size as the smaller ones (so about 0.5").

Knowing my luck, it's probably generic, lol :icon_scratch:

There is no apparent value in game marbles
That is why a box of Akro Agate Chinese Checkers only sells for 30-35.00
People want the box and the marbles are incidental.
I have thousands of Akros,Alley,Champions, etc, etc and they are all worth the same, about .01-.04/ea
I get them in lots all of the time.
They are MORE common that cats eyes

Now
if it is curiosity, well, then you have your work cut out for you
I can tell if a pile is vitro or marble king and sometimes even champion IF I have a few hundred in front of me from the same maker.
You start to notice patterns that are indicative to specific companies
However, I cannot tll if you show me a small handful unless they are red, blue or yellow and even then it is best guess based on previous discoveries.
I have several checker set ups with the original boxes, packing and marbles from various companies whom had contracts during a specific time frame with company X Y or Z
I use them as guide lines and ID examples and only for fun as...game marbles have no value :)
