FOUND AT A NEW LOCATION SITE. 1900 HOME part 2 up date on button

WHENT EARLY THIS MORNING TO THE OLD HOUSE BEFORE THE HEAT OF THE DAY AND FOUND , 3 WHEAT PEENYS, DATES UNKNOWN. A DOG TAG 1942. HATE TO SAY THIS, BUT I MAY HAD DUG UP THE DOG. REASON IS, THERE WAS A PART OF THE CHANE AROUND THE TAG. OPPS :dontknow:. NEXT TO THE HOUSE WAS A PLANT SYSTEM FIREMANS COAT BUTTON. A SMALL GOLD EAR RING. NOT REAL GOLD, I THINK. AND A WATCHA-MA - CALL IT ROUND METAL THING :dontknow:. AND A KEY.
the button has waterburry scoville mfg co . if im right it was made from 1850 to 1865... cool :headbang: info was from http://pw1.netcom.com/~jimyce/bm.html

Nice digs Homer.
I guess you can't let a sleeping dog lie. :dontknow: ;D
Don't feel bad. I dug one up earlier this year from the 1990's with the collar attached but unhooked. :o There was a phone # on it and it was still good. They said it must of fell off their dog & he wasn't buried where I dug it at. What a relief! :tongue3:
Congrats,
MM
