Alright. This is worrying me. Can anyone help me identify this thing?

Dimensions are:

3 1/4" H
2 1/16" W
1 1/8" D

Bottom has 1/2" Threaded Hole

Weight 1.2 lb (1 lb 3 oz)

I think it's an anchor end for a rope, cable, or guy wire.

Looks like the big eyelet where a cable from a high line pole is anchored to the ground or the pole end. Just a thought
