Got out for a couple of days this week. Not too much exciting to post, but it's something anyway.

Yeah AC, I wish the US Mints would go back to using copper, or drop the pennies altogether. Those pennies minted since 1981 might as well be called disposable. Because once they hit the dirt they begin to turn to dirt.

Detecting is always better than working. Thats the way I look at it. Pennies found on the beach look terrible. I found some that were a year old and looked to be 300 years old. Great finds and the change adds up.

We can't always find the really neat stuff. That would get tiresome. Not really. It's the Hunt that's fun. Happy New Year.
