I know this isn't a today find. I found it in a cleanout yesterday but needed to wash them first. I don't smoke so I will sell them but found them interesting. I think they would look great in an Officers Club or VFW SAM_0621.JPG

I don't think I have ever seen a repurposed tag/ashtray before. Those are neat!

As a veteran I'm offended that these would be used as ashtrays. We need to honor our Vets!

To me thats an attack on our military because they are used as trash cans to snuff out butts and dishonor those who served. My guess is you never served so you wouldn't understand.

About the only thing that does offend me is people disrespecting the American Flag, my Country and our Vets. I took an oath in the 80's to protect this Country from all enemies both foreign and domestic, the oath did not expire with my enlistment and will never expire!!

For you or anyone to take this so lightly, is shameful. You should be grateful to this great Country, the freedoms it provides and the vets who protect those freedoms!!

You assume wrong, but that is immaterial. Would you be more or less offended to have them thrown in the trash?

I, to am a veteran and I am not offended by the ingenuity of people to repurpose what is already made. That is what makes it so cool.
