Found my First Picker

Finally after a year i found my first Picker while crevicing in the Black Canyon City AZ area (small but i can easily pick it up)...... My seven year old grandson and myself got out for a few hours today so i left the metal detector home and showed him how to crevice...... to be honest i think it was him that got it. the smaller stuff is what i found in the past. That kid was smiling ear to ear.

Congratulations. I have yet to find my first one. The real nugget is being able to bring your grandson along prospecting. They seem to always be luckier.....

Watching the grandson prospect was the best and showing me caliche, and magnetite and more and knowing the names of that stuff realy amazed me..... the picker was the icing on the cake.

Nothing found today except I cleaned up the whole area of all the dangerous and deadly lead that was laying around and could poison animals or humans.
I could have been a member of the EPA but did not get paid for it.
