Found my second ring ever today

I found this ring as I was leaving the tater patch today where an old house used to be. Late 1800's early 1900's... Man I wish it would have been gold or silver but to me it's still an awesome find considering they were a lot lower in numbers than coins back in those days. I also found this weird brass valve of some sort. If you know what it is please let me know

The brass valve is from gas lighting. Nice save on the brass wedding band.
