Went to Long Beach, CA, early this morning for a couple hours on a reconnaissance mission to check for additional areas free of enemy trash that may hamper my new incoming machine and it's operator.

I found my smallest silver ring (925) to date that weighed exactly one gram with two inverted hearts. I didn't even know it was a ring until I got home and saw the 925 on it. It was still dark when I scooped it up and it looked like a piece of melted solder, but I just put it in my pocket. That is the second time I scooped Silver in the dark that looked like melted solder, the first was a Tiffany Open Heart Pendant in Huntington Beach.

I also found my second Quarter to date that is corroding from the inside-out. I like the way it looks with the meat getting eaten out of the sandwich.

Thanks for Swinging By!

Question for you jewelerguy ... How would I go about straightening that ring out. Would I have to heat it first? Or is it too far gone to try?

Bring it by the house and we will put it on the ring mandrel and use a leather mallet to straighten it out! It may require a small amount of heat and repair but nothing I can't do!

Thanks RG,
Maybe we can get it looking good enough for a before and after photo shoot :)
