Since Tuesday is my day off I went out for a little hunt in the parkway between 2 streets and found a '49 Wheatie, some kind of tiny ring missing the stone :(, a hot rod, and some sort of metal 6 shooter. If you have info about itlet me know.

Hi Mark!

Nice little score there!

The pistol looks like a replica of the old Smith & Wesson Model 10's. It's what the military and police used back in the day and they were very popular. Check out this link for pics. http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg76-e.htm

Fun finds!! The copper ring is a copper compression ring off of an old spark plug.
The six shooter is cool. I had a set of those when I was a little kid. It had a 30-30
rifle, a six shooter, and a musket. If I ever get up north to the little farm I grew up
on, I'll have to see if I can find them with the detector. I'm sure they are in the ground
somewhere.
