I googled the name and didnt come up with anything other than a post on another forum of someone digging one. I found this driving down a road it was sticking out of a dirt pile where a new driveway is going in. There was some other broken bottles there also, this was the only whole one a saw.

Cool bottle...

I'd go back by and ask if I could look around a little more closely.

Your bottle would typically be called a "Blob Top Soda" probably 1870'is, maybe a few years earlier, aqua in color typical for those days, blown in Philly.

You should definitely go back to see if you can walk around the excavation site. They may have opened up a privy or other type of bottle dump. There can be a lot of good things in there. Offer to split some of the finds with the property owners.

I drove by today for a closer look, I doubt it was any kind of privy, I am thinking maybe a bottle dump. According to the old maps and penn pilot, nothing was in the area except the home site where I am currently hitting, which would probably be where the bottle came from. There is some other broken glass laying and they havent really opened anything else up yet, just some trees have been cut.
