Nice multi-colored rock. No idea what it is. Just be grateful to be on the beach in Costa Rica mate.

You will need to know the geology of the immediate area. That will tell the tale.

It sure looks like Eclogite, but what is it doing in Costa Rica? That type of rock is found in Norway and South Africa.

Anywhere really deeply formed metamorphic rocks have been exposed at the surface, it may be found. So I have read. I have never seen it first hand, and just find it a very interesting stone with all the different minerals and colors. And it is quite rare and valuable, as a specimen if indeed Eclogite. IMO.
