Found some lead today...

Finally went back to the 1860's house I've been gridding and only had about an hour today with only three targets. A couple bullets and what I hope is a buckle from the late 19th century, don't think its much older than that!

I agree, it must be a horse bridle rosette of some sort. Looks like the spot has potential for older stuff!
