I found this penny a little while ago, one side is normal but the side with lincoln is almost completey smooth. It looks like its a 2007 but it's very hard to read the date. Here are some multiple pics, any help would be great.

Looking at the distortion of the letters near the rim, I am thinking possibly struck thru a capped die.

When I went to my bank friday to pick up my 2 boxes. The teller told me that a few days earlier a customer bought a roll of new Wash $$ and he opened them up ant his window. One of the coins had no image on the front or back but from the edge it looked like a regular dollar.

They had no idea of the value so my teller was waiting for me to come in. I guess I am now the bank's coin expert. (little do they know)
