I'm no expert by any measure, but I'd go with bone.
The bottom piece looks as if it has fossilized bone
marrow.

that may be bone. I've collected some dinosaur bone frags in northeastern Montana that were similar. Would need better pics. Which part of the country did they come from? And describe the hunt a bit, would be helpful.
