Found this today - What is it ??

Today I was at the oldest park in town. It dates to around 1880 or somewhere near that. Any how as soon as turned on the Ace 250 this is what I found. Any idea what it is??

Looks like a adornment for a lamp or clock or possibly a winder key for somethin'

Part of a shutoff valve for a gas light or heater. Monty

Possibly a handle for an old natural gas nozzle. Some were quite decorative.

the top of a lamp that screws down to hold the shade on tight

Doesn't look threaded to me...

Looks like the outside part of a non electric door bell. The visitor would turn the knob and it would ring a bell on the other side of the door.
