not sure what kind of metal this is. It looks like a piece of crushed aluminum can but its incredibly hard and it registered at 91 on the F5

(In white tray) A pull tab which isn't interesting at all. A pencil end, a nickle and a dime that I found in the same hole. The metal detector was still hitting on quarter even after I extracted these two coins from the hole but I couldn't locate anything else. I don't own a pin pointer yet so I will return to the spot as soon as I purchase one.

Found this little button towards the end of the day it has a star on it with some letter that I cant read on it. Looks like one word around the edge says "fire"

Overall it was a good day even though it was only 37 degrees out.

Thanks. I kind of had the same thought. It was on school property right next to the playground. I started wondering if perhaps lightning may have hit it.
