What is up Tnet:hello:
Got out to some local spots to get a little detecting in..Almost healed from my injury and can't wait to get out to some Colonial
Cellar Holes..Grabbed some cool relics but not a single early coin or any good coins.....Hit a small foundation that was probably
some kind of shop not much around it at all just some big iron and a Harmonica, button etc..
Then i hit an early local house that was sooo trashy it was difficult to detect..Got some cool relic including,
American legion printing plate

Early Rosette i think it's early

Lead toy Soldier..Anyone know the outfit?

Sweet Mill badge

Nice 1830 religious medal,,First one dated..

And other relics..

Have fun out there:hello:

~Blaze~

The religious metal is called "Miraculous medal" and all Miraculous medals or have the date of 1830. I'm not saying it's not old but that's the date of the miracle of the Blessed mother visiting a woman in France you could look it up in Wikipedia.

All great finds! Congrats HH

Great hunt and buttons. My buttons are never quite as nice as everyone else's flat buttons (except once). And Diggin Dude took the words right out of my mouth. First miraculous medal I found tricked me good, although yours does not look new by any means.

You always have the best looking sites JB. I wish Pennsylvania authorities would open up state game lands to metal detecting.

Your toy soldier reminds me of an old French foreign legion movie :icon_thumright:

Sweet finds Johnny B (goode) (love that song)
I "ALWAYS" like you site pics., I don't do the same as the one time I did some "lurker" said "hey I know where that is" Which would be OK "IF" we hunted together, but guess what ...? NOT.

Keep hunting, we had a bit of snow today...so the end is near.....
