Fraim Slaymaker lock - trick to opening?

I have a padlock that I have only opened twice ... I don't know what I did to open it, but it doesn't always want to open when I fuss with the key. This padlock feels like it has a magnet inside that closes it? On one side of the padlock it says "FRAIM-SLAYMAKER HDW.CO." and then a FS logo. On the other side it says "LANCASTER, PA. U.S.A." with the FS logo. On the bottom it says "S Z 4 7". - The lock and key are in excellent shape. Any assistance in tricking this thing open again ... would be greatly appreciated! Maybe a little WD 40 can loosen' it up and make it work properly

I didn't think of trying that because everything works so well, except the opening part. ;o) I'lll give it a shot and we'll see what happens! Thanks for pointing out the obvious to me - and thanks for the quick reply.

No prob maybe its a little sticky in there and needs a little oil like the tinman !
