It is being reported that Mr. Nolan has passed away.

R.I.P. to one of the most intriguing personalities of the modern story of Oak Island. I believe that in some way we can all relate to pursuing a life's passion as Mr. Nolan clearly did. Hopefully his work on the island will be honored and respected always.

That is sad. A part of the Legend of Oak Island moves into history. I hope one day his efforts are seen to be vindicated. RIP Mr Nolan.
