I got home from working overtime today around 3 pm.My 10yo wanted to go fishing, only one problem is I havn't gone down to the tackle store and buy my license yet.I came up with a plan though.I told my son I would buy him a dozen crawlers and take him fishing, but I was going to metal detect while he fishes and see who ends up with a better catch. After about 3 and a half hours at the Lake Massabesic waterfront,he ended up with 3 bites and no fish to show for it.I did a bit better.I managed a 1945 Mercury Dime,a 1957 Rosie,2 wheaties(1937,1952-D),a 30-30 Win shell casing,a huge lead ball(not sure if it is a musket ball it does have small molding seams),and a couple pieces of fishing junk...also got 91 cents in clad.
