Friday's CW campsite finds - Unknown bullet (a first for me)

Yesterday, before the big rain, I hit the CW campsite (?) that I've been MDing at the last few weeks. The new road is going through there, and this section is now starting to be filled in with new dirt brought in. :( The finds are getting slim too. So far we've turned up some nice CW bullets, a few belt keepers, knapsack pieces, bullet lead, arrowheads, and one SLQ. A new section through the woods will be started soon on the other side of the stream. Can't wait.
Here is my take for yesterday:

*FOUR BULLETS- Enfield, 3-ringer, and two that I could use help IDing. I've never found one like the one with the two rings & holed base. Any ideas?

*CW Knapsack snap/stud. This is the 2nd one found at this site.

*Percussion cap.

*Asst'd field lead pieces.

Nothing too spectacular, but a good sign of what may be in store in the woods come fall & winter.
Thanks for looking,
MM

Nice finds CONGRATULATIONS !! I believe the unidentified bullet with the small hole in the bottom is a Williams Cleaner bullet. It is missing the bottom piece. I don't know what the other unidentified bullet might be.

Man
You guys are good. I learn something new here every day. I always thought that base piece was molded on to the cleaner bullet as a 1 pc bullet, not just stuck into the hole. :tard: :tongue3: Thanks for that picture Civil.
Very cool.

Dougster,

Hey, man, it is nice to see this CW history coming back to life. I bet those bullets are thanking you from having them spend anymore time under that ground. :P  :D If anyone can do it, the Dougster is the one!

I wish you luck on getting that Seated wilver!

You guys better get out there before that section is covered up. After that large amount of rain yesterday some points may have surfaced. :icon_scratch:

Thanks Kirk.
I still have to meet my quota for the year - 1 LC and one 1800's silver. Last year my best month was in December, so hopefully this year is a repeat.
Kyle zooming in on any new (old) spots for you three Coppa Crusaders?
Good luck,
