i just got a Garret and can't wait 2 start finding the goods. Has any 1 ever tried around the local public pools? Can it be done?

Don't know where in PA You are But yes I Have
received Permission For Local pools Here.
The older ones are Good for Gold Rings, Silver rings, Jewelry,
Silver Coins , Wheats Etc. Because Adults & Teens Used Them.
The newer pools Mainly tons of Clad
Because these days Public pools are on the way
out & Used mainly by Children.
Best times to gain Permission, is while they are
prepping them for Opening, which is usually a few weeks before
memorial day weekend.
Off season Grass Mowing Days,
Or on a day they have a Young Teen manning the place,
an she's / he's alone or only has a few friends hangin' around.
I find Teens at these places are Very Generous
to Adult Detectorists.

Forget the public pools,go and try the local swimming holes that are out in the woods.I've found more earings and coins in dried up swimming holes that are out in the woods than around public pools.
