I struck a little gangsta bling in a park today. (I carry a gun when I hunt this park, btw...) A big, fat $. It's not big ... just 1.6 grams of 10k (European marked 417), but I'll take it!

If I return it, do you think I'll get an honorable mention? :icon_scratch:

You are packing a gun while you metal detect? Seriously! Dont you think you should just try a safer spot? Or is that how you Kentucky boys roll?

I'm always packing, anyway. It's just that in some places I open carry. I'm always safe. :)

I think you should try and return it...he had to sell alot of crack rocks for that! Great find HH

Hmmm! why is everyone disrespecting our brothers for their style. They, too, are US citizens who have fought bled and died for our country. Go to church...

Not sure I get it, Bill. Why not find a safer place. Sounds like he is looking for trouble

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It's worth the risk, all the silver that I've dug out of that park. Plus ... I've never been approached or actually threatened by anyone, except curious folk and a couple of crazy crack-heads asking questions. People still take their kids there. It's just on a rougher side of town, but still relatively safe. The simple reality is that many (if not most) of the old places that hold silver are located in older, run-down neighborhoods. You have to go where the goods are. I just make sure I have my extra 9mm's x 7 of security. :metaldetector:
