I have been using the x pointer. Almost identical to the Garett one. Mine is starting to show lots of wear and the button is almost worn away. So about due for a new one

Congrats. Needless to say, they probably won't honor any finds found with other brands unless you were to BS them. I can see it now: "So-and-so made this miraculous discovery with his Minelab E-trac." Lol
