Garret ace 250 question

You may want to invest in a pin pointer. Garret makes a good one. Your depth gauge may not be be a accurate as we all hope they are. When pinpointing with the coil you can be off a couple of inches and miss the target completely.

Yeper Depth indicator is just a good starting point for our M D's
I really want a Garret pro pointer. I have a V4 that I picked up when I got my F5, but I been following these threads for a bit now, and even my V4 pin pointer has became something I don't wana have by me, I want the pro pointer!!!

Alot of times the silver is at least 4-5 inches deep. If you have a good signal I would keep digging. Try raising your coil a good foot or so above the ground and swing. If you still get a good signal its likely a crushed can.
